Super Bowl XLI - The Commercials
Let’s be realistic.
The Super Bowl now exists for one reason, and it’s no longer the football game. It’s all about the commercials.
My faves:
- The Garmin / Ultraman / Mapzilla one. Watching the game with a bunch of other 30-somethings… it was very funny.
- Bud Light - Rock, Paper, Scissors
- Bud Light Slap Fight.
- Man 1: Dude, the fist punch is out.
- Man 2: So what’s in?
- Man 1 to Man 2’s face: “SLAP”
- CareerBuilder Deathmatch
- Kevin Federline - “Federline! Fries!” (Breaking the daydream that we was a hip-hop star). Just wish it were true.
Lame:
- Chevy Sing-a-long
- Whatever “Hog” movie was advertisedThe one about your Heart… we were waiting for some metaphor for a wonder drug to come flying out of stage left. Never happened…
