I found out that my alma mater’s basketball team made the Big West Tournament finals. They were winning at halftime. Which actually got me to thinking about making a road trip to watch them get stomped by a major basketball school. In the end, they missed out on the schools first NCAA berth (again).
The great thing about NCAA basketball is the little guy. It would have been great to see Cal Poly playing among the big boys.
