What’s wrong with the world?

USA basketball once again fails to capture gold. Most of their undoing was the fact that they didn’t understand how to slow down the pick-and-roll.

I also watched a 20/20 show of about how competition would help the school system in America. It really took aim at teacher’s unions and how we go about setting the bar for “good” students in high school. As the son of a public school teacher, I do get a little worked up over this kind of stuff. As a parent, I also get really upset.

I hate unionized labor of any type. I feel that competition and merit should dictate who keeps jobs. Unions maintain a level of mediocrity that should not be tolerated.

On a lighter note, this is one of the most crushing articles I’ve ever read.  It just shatters so many suspensions of belief that I had…
